BRANCH TRANSFERS

Branch transfers have all the power of the sales and purchasing
sides of the system. Inventory is updated, lookups are easily performed, and, generally, any feature present in sales or purchasing is available in branch transfers as well.

  • future orders log stock allocations at both branches
  • filling orders updates both branches
  • transfers may be set up as push or pull
  • products may be set up as push or pull only
  • suggested transfers may be made based either on past sales demand for that branch
  • lead times are checked before posting
Availability Window shows, for each product:
  • on hand

  • incoming
    •
  • allocated
    •
  • available
    •
  • demand
    •
  • all in cases, boxes (units or lbs), and billing units (often exact lbs)
    •
  • and lead time
    •

Lookups

  • inventory may be queried for any or all branches
  • products may be looked up using standard techniques
