The PURVEYOR pricing system is extensive and user friendly.

Maintenance

  • prices may be set in a hierarchical manner:

  • the prices may be maintained through full screen programs to allow prices for huge product lines to be quickly and effectively maintained

  • prices may be locked in or be calculated from a matrix of multipliers
    •
  • prices may be based on several bases including several costs and market value
  • effective dates may be placed for a new price to take effect
    •
  • effective dates may be placed for bid pricing and specials.
Controls
  • this pricing structure may also be used to preclude certain customers from buying certain products
    •
  • override (point of sale) pricing can be disallowed or only allowed within a certain percentage of management price

Reports

  • many reports are available including
    •
  • price override reporting
    •
  • price change reports
    •
  • price lists for a customer category or all
    •
  • price lists with variable selectivity
    •
  • markup evaluation reports for assessing pricing

Prices may be discounted for low quality using an optional discount % per level of being off-quality.
